Jeff and Tammi Scheetz have been married for 30 years and moved to Arizona six years ago. They have attended TCAA for approximately 5 years. Jeff works for the City of Avondale in IT and Tammi teaches students reading and writing as a private tutor. They have served in AWANA for over 15 years. Jeff is currently on the TCAA Leadership team. They have two adult sons. They enjoy traveling, hiking and playing games.

Scott and his wife, Mari, have been members at TCAA for over nineteen years, and are both natives of Arizona. They have also been married for nineteen years and have two adult sons, Matthew and Aaron. They attended TCAA and have grown to be godly men. Scott and Mari enjoy biking, visiting Prescott, playing golf and watching football together. Mari is an Arizona Wildcat, and Scott is an ASU fan. There are moments when we are a house divided in football but always a home united in Christ! At times, I have served in a leadership role for the music ministry. Scott and Mari have facilitated a Journey group for many years and are currently leading a bible study group. Scott and Mari feel they have been truly blessed to be part of such a wonderful church family and look forward to serving for many years to come.

Steve and Jan Lyon,

Steve and Jan have two married daughters and have four grandchildren. They have served in churches in Texas, Arizona and Venezuela. They also served as missionaries in Venezuela where Steve was a seminary professor and church planter. He also served as a professor in Fort Worth, Abilene, Arlington and San Antonio, Texas, Hospital Chaplain and he is currently an Associate Pastor at TCAA.

Daniel and Dawn Brown, Sunday, 11:00AM
in Room 105
Dan, as most call him, became a Christian while attending Air Force basic training at Lackland AFB, San Antonio Texas, and was baptized at the First Baptist Church in San Antonio.
Between being a technical and academic instructor during his 20-year Air Force career and then a middle school and high school teacher, he has over 39 years teaching experience. He has been teaching Bible study lessons for six years.
Dan met his wife, Dawn, while both were attending training at Goodfellow AFB, San Angelo, Texas. They were married on May 17, 1975. Both are now retired and enjoy serving TCAA in whatever ways are useful to the church.

Ed Hansen leads the parents of students Bible Fellowship group. This group currently consists of couples with students ranging from grade school through college and beyond.

Apps for iMoms

Fall Semester

begins Aug. 31st @ 9:15am

Room 105, Main Bldg.

iMoms is a mentoring and support ministry for moms with school-age children and younger. Our group offers a Bible study each semester for 12-14 weeks. Through studying God’s Word together, we develop a strong friendship and support for one another. Prayer is especially important to our ministry, and Jan Lyon leads our Prayer Time. Our iMom Team is filled with grandma mentors who love the LORD and our moms. Our 18 Prayer Warriors lift our moms and grandmas in prayer each week for their specific needs, and we pray for them also. We’re thankful for this opportunity to serve the LORD, and “live life” with our moms!
