Operation Mexico Missions Bag Stuffing

Saturday, December 17th at TCAA at 8:30 a.m.

Our goal this year is to help Operation Mexico Missions make 1500 Christmas bags containing fruit, candy, a toy, toothbrush, school supply and a Gospel Tract. These bags will be taken to children in the border towns of Mexico at Christmas time. For many of these       children, this bag will be the only gift they receive for Christmas!

We still need any of the following items…

* Cash donations for apples and oranges (so we can buy fresh)

* Small toys like yo-yo’s, small balls, jump ropes, marbles, small dolls (Barbies are too big),  small cars, jacks, hair bows, barrettes, small stuffed animals, Beanie Babies, etc.

* School supplies Crayons, pencils, small pads, etc.

* Toothbrushes/Toothpaste

Each year we receive more toys for boys than girls more girls’ toys would be appreciated.

For any questions or to volunteer please contact Pastor Curt at 623.572.7902 or cblocker@tcaa.com.

The Man Series

What does it mean to a man of courage? We often think about acts of courage on the battlefield. Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer charged through enemy fire in Afghanistan five times to save 13 Marines and Army soldiers who were pinned down. Dakota says he is not a hero as he was doing his job!

For men of God, true sacrifice is a way of life, not an isolated event and not one battle. What does sacrifice look like for a man who follows Jesus, a man who is married, a man who has a family, and a man who has a purpose in life.

Your pastors have heard from men who want to be courageous, who want to be godly, who want to grow as husbands and fathers and who want to make a difference in the lives of their families and community.

God wants the men at TCAA to be “courageous” and it starts with each man! Join us for “The Man Series:”
*The Man and His God: October 23
*The Man and His Marriage: Oct. 30
*The Man and His Family: Nov. 6
*The Man and God’s Will: Nov. 13

But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve… But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD. Joshua 24:15

Courageous

Who’s Ready to Be Courageous This Weekend?!?

We are just three days away from the opening of COURAGEOUS in more than 1,100 theaters across the United States and Canada. It’s a movie that will likely confound the critics and be overshadowed by the large number of films playing on three times the number of screens. Yet more importantly, it will be embraced by people like us!

The question is: how will you be courageous this weekend?
