What is The Rock?
The Rock is a children’s ministry designed with your child in mind! Children, birth through six grade, experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. Join the fun and experience a world where kids meet Jesus on their level!

Planning Your First Visit?
Look for the area designated for first time families. We will meet your family and check your child into our database system. Once your family is checked in, one of our volunteers will be happy to show you the age appropriate room we have created for your child.

We will ask for the following personal information: family member’s names, children’s names and birth dates, family address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child.

On your way home, be sure to ask your child: “Did you have fun?” and “What did you learn today?”

What Events are on the calendar?
So glad you asked. We don’t just stop with Sunday morning. Through out the week and the year we offer a variety of programs, from Awana to Children’s Summer Camp. Below you can get more information on those various activities.

• Awana is a Bible centered program where children K-12th grades learn about God and His Word, meet new friends and participate in games & contests. Awana meets every Tuesday from 6:20pm – 8:00pm. For 2011-2012 schedule click: Schedule 2011-12
  

• March 31st

Regional VBS Training for all Vacation Bible School Volunteers will be held at North Hills Baptist Church (Union Hills and 20th Street). Thinking about helping this summer? Here’s a great way to get started. This training will have classes in every area of VBS: all grades, Recreation, Youth, Crafts, Snacks.

• June 24^th-28^th 6:30 – 8:30pm

Vacation Bible School – Amazing Wonders Aviation – Encountering God’s Awesome Power

This summer, watch amazing things happen as your kids encounter God like never before. You’ll see lives changed as kids tour some of the world’s most marvelous natural wonders and learn to trust and recognize God as they explore His awesome power. For children entering in Kindergarten – Completed 5^th grade.
